After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Economics from UCLA in 1968, Richard L. Perez went on to pursue a law degree at the University of California Berkeley. Richard received his J.D. (Doctor of Jurisprudence) from the Boalt Hall School of Law at Berkeley in 1971 while also serving as an Associate Editor of the California Law Review.
First associated with the San Francisco law firm of McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen, Richard Perez worked for Boalt Hall's professor John R. Hetland. Leaving the law firm of Lempres & Wulfberg as a principal attorney in 1982, Richard established the current firm of Perez & Miller. He is now the managing partner of the firm, which has seen great successes over the past 23 years.
Mr. Perez was an advisor to the Boalt Hall School of Law High Technoology Journal and has taught a number of seminars on computer litigation and real estate brokerage commissions, among other subjects. In addition to being a member of the California Bar Association, he is admitted to practice in numerous U.S. District Courts.
